Clinic Area
We feature a large salon-like clinic area. This is where you (the cosmetology student) will work on actual clients practicing the skills you have learned in the freshman program. We incorporate many of the finest professional products available into your training here. You will be using boutique lines found in the finest salons.
Shampoo Area
This area features shampoo bowls at a variety of heights in order to better accommodate both students and clients. It is very important that you learn more than just how to cut hair or apply color. You need to also learn how to give your clients good service while at the same time taking proper care of yourself, especially in your back. You can’t replace it.
Waxing Room & Skin Care Room for Cosmetology Students
We provide you with separate areas for these services so that you may have the most salon-like experience possible.
Classrooms
We have two large classrooms: one features a stage area complete with shampoo area and styling area; the other classroom features a practice area for mannequin work. The two classrooms can be opened up into one huge classroom for special classes featuring guest educators. We have national educators from a number of our product lines visit from time to time to give you up to the minute information on our ever-changing industry.
Esthetics Classroom
The esthetics students work in a fully-equipped environment complete with wet treatment room, shower facility, and a dressing/locker-room for clients. A full range of skincare equipment, relaxation and mood enhancing lighting, music, and aromatherapy add to the professional atmosphere created for this program; and of course you will be working with some of the finest products available to the profession. A separate classroom is utilized for theory and demonstrations complete with an electric lift table, which allows our instructors to demonstrate techniques to you at a height that allows for easy viewing.
Retail Sales Opportunity
We offer a wide variety of retail products for sale. This provides you with the opportunity to begin educating your clients about the importance of using professional products to maintain the styles you create. Retail selling is a great way to enhance your income in the salon. However, learning to approach your clients, make suggestions, and actually sell the products requires practice just like anything else. We would rather you get beyond the awkward beginning stages here than in your chosen salon on your clients.
